I´m Portuguese, and can´t speak italian....Sorry!


I have a Scorpion 4035 wich is a 12N8P 6 turn Delta Winding, wich has 800Kv.
I would like to keep the Rpm, or increase it to 900Kv more or less in a YY winding with 3+3 1.8mm turns per tooth...The problem is that all the winding schematic i see in the net is for 12N10P and not 12N8P....Is the winding chematic the same, or it´s different?
Is it possible for a good working motor a YY winding in a 12N8P motor?

12N8P YY winding schema

The YY winding is possible for all N-P combination (but not with all the same schema), this 12N8P have only a little more difficult to jump with wire from 1° to 4° toot, from 2° to 5° etc..... but with a patience is possible.
But why you whant use this motor for high Kv? for very big wire diameter or only because 8P motor done high Kv?

Mine Motor has 6 turn Delta with 800Kv...If i put 3+3 turn i will have 800*1.15= +/- 920Kv..am i right?

Yes this schema is correct. This is only possible for 12N8P YY. If you rewind with tooth in pair motor don't work because the esc don't found the correct sincronously on "free" fase.

The calculation of Kv is ok..... Good work and post your result if you whant!

My test on 12n8p confirm the calculation with this schema (kv Of turn delta x 1.15 done yy kv...) please test and post your results. Good work.
