Per tutti quelli che usano il GV1 con futaba FF9 vorrei chiedere ...nel settaggio di esso vi è necessità di attivare o meno la parte del programma prsente sulla FF9 riguardante il governor???
Ho letto le istruzioni si quelle in italiano che quelle in ingelse date a corredo del gv1 ma non ne vengo fuori......se la programmazione comprende anche l'attivazione di questa parte presente sulla radio.....non se ne parla da nessuna parte nel manuale del gv1.....
Chi mi aiuta??????

Ciao!...io dalla radio(ff9) non ho settato niente,a parte assegnare ai vari switch i comandi per attivare/disattivare il governor ecc...il resto lo si fa tutto dal display del gv-1..! se sbaglio correggetemi!

Su RunRayder ho trovato questo articolo riguardante il settaggio del GV1 con la FF9...ma tutto in inglese....ci vorrebbe un anima più che riasumesse il tutto..

GV 1 Settings:


1) RS1~RS3 = Displays the aux rpm settings

2) GRt = Set gear ratio of heli [Main gear teeth / pinion gear teeth]

3) SWPt = Activate

4) StSw = Activate

5) SWCd = Condition page ***Most Important Menu*** Good for verifying if Gov is in the ON or OFF state.

6) B/FS = Activate (Sets Gov to go to predetermine throttle setting in case of low battery voltage. Normally set for a low IDLE condition.)

7) B/FD = Set this by placing throttle stick at low position IDLE
***IMPORTANT set ONLY after setting "Limit Set" Calibration***

8) Lmt = Calibrates throttle stick position. Always perform this function if results in the SWCd menu is not showing the correct state for the gov when at low stick, high stick, idle up, manual on/off, throttle hold. Also, perform this calibration if you change your linkage setups.

9) Sen = target for 97% if at all possible. Its not difficult to get, manual say greater then 60&.

The Setup:

1) Connect the GV1 Aux On/Off wire to Chan 8 on the RX. Edited 01/14/08

2) Connect the GV1 Aux Rpm wire to Chan 7 on the RX. Edited 01/14/08

3) Connect the GV1 Throttle wire to Chan 3 on the RX.

4) Connect the Throttle servo wire to the GV1 Throttle Input.

5) Connect the Sensor to the GV1 Sensor Input.

6) On the 9C, go to the Aux Menu and assign Chan 8 to "F". This will be the manual on/off to turn the GV1 ON or OFF. This is ideal for troubleshooting or tuning your engine.Edited 01/14/08

7) On the 9C, go to the Aux Menu and assign Chan 7 to "E". This will be for setting various rpms via the flight mode switch "E".Edited 01/14/08

8) On the 9C, go to the Gov Menu. TEMPORARILY set the values as follows: UP = 0%; CNTR = 50%; Down = 100%. I will explain this value later.

9) On the 9C, verify that your End Points for chan 7 & 8 are 100% / 100%. Chan 3 end point should be close to 100% / 100% (no less then 85% / 85%) and equal. It is important that the throttle chan end point values are as mention or the GV1 will not function properly.

10) Turn on the radio then the GV1

11) On the 9C, set the throttle trim to low.

12) On the 9C, Throttle Curve menu, set the NORM values for a straight line, 0% 25% 50% 75% 100%. Also activate idle up 1 and 2 and set the curves for a "V" or a "U" curve.

13) On the 9C activate the Throttle Hold function.

14) On the GV1, activate the SWPt. This function changes the direction of the ON/OFF switch.

15) On the GV1, activate the StSw. This function uses the radio's throttle stick to turn on or off the GV1. Roughly around 25% stick.

16) Lets calibrate the GV1 and the radio's stick position. On the GV1 scroll to the LMT menu. But before we begin, lets understand what is going on here. At half stick the heli is in the ground, hence 0 degrees of pitch.

So from low throttle stick position to half stick nothing happens. In other words, Engine Idle in normal mode happens from low stick position to almost half stick position. We need to instruct the GV1 that the idle position will be roughly around 30% stick position.

Go to the 9C throttle curve menu, NORM, move the throttle stick so that the arrows on the #2 and #3 are both highlighted. Leave the stick in this position. Also, make sure that the throttle trim is all the way down.

On the GV1 activate the LMT menu to accept the Lmt Idle position. The GV1 will now flash Lmt High, move the throttle stick to the full high position and activate the GV1, the GV1 will now flash Lmt Stop, move the throttle stick to full low position.

Now lets verify that the GV1 comes on when it should.

On the GV1, go to the SWCd menu. Move the throttle stick slowly until the SWCd shows ON. Now look at the 9C throttle menu and see where the stick position is on the graph. The stick position should around 30% when the GV1 SWCd menu switches from off to on. If not, adjust the throttle stick position until you obtain this approximate value.

17) Now lets check and see when the GV1 goes on. On the GV1 go to the SWCd menu. Move the throttle stick from low (GV1 shows OFF) to half stick (GV1 shows ON). Now toggle switch "F". The GV1 SWCd menu should show OFF. Toggle switch "F" back, GV1 SWCd shows ON. Toggle switch "E" to idle up 1, GV1 SWCd should show ON. Toggle switch "F", GV1 should show OFF. Toggle switch "F" back, GV1 SWCd should show ON. Toggle the Throttle hold switch, GV1 SWCd should show OFF.

OK you get the picture. At Idle UP 1 & 2 the GV1 SWCd should be on regardless of stick position. If Throttle Hold is activated then the GV1 SWCd should show OFF. If the 9C switch "F" is activated then the GV1 SWCd should show OFF. If the throttle stick is at low stick position then the GV1 SWCd should show OFF.

18) Lets now setup the Aux RPM. On the GV1 scroll to the RS1~RS3 menu.
Before we begin were going to play with some MATH. That's right! We are going to set the RPM values from the radio. Whatever headspeed you want we can do it at the radio with simple MATH. You don't need to remove the canopy and change the rpm settings on the GV1.

If you recall on the 9C Gov menu we had the settings of 0% 50% 100%.

The usable range for any heli is from 1500rpm to 2000rpm. Lets do the math.

From 1500 to 2000 rpm there are 500 set points and on the 9C Gov menu there are 100 set points. So 500 divided by 100 equals 5 set points.

We know that the GV1 low setting is 1500rpm. If we wanted 1600rpm we would change the 9C value from 0% to 20%. OR, 5 x 20 = 100, So, 100 + 1500 = 1600. You could say that for every 50 rpm you will increment the percentage value by 10%. OR, a 10% increase will yield a approximately a 50 rpm gain.

The 01/14/08 edited values should make the RS1 correspond to Normal mode, RS2 to Idle Up 1 and RS3 to Idle Up 2. Now that we understand the MATH, lets perform the setup. Don't worry about RS1, RS2, RS3 not going in order of rpm values. What is important is that the 9C sets the aux rpm via the radio and not the GV1.

On the 9C toggle the switch "E" to NORM mode. On the GV1, set the RS1~RS3 value to 1500. Toggle the switch "E" to Idle Up 1, now set the GV1 RS1~RS3 value to 1750. Toggle the switch "E" to Idle Up 2, now set the GV1 RS1~RS3 value to 2000. We are now done setting the initial values on the GV1. Toggle switch "E" and verify you the GV1 has 1500, 1750, 2000. You may have to tweak it a click or two.

Now lets set the head speed we want. For example we want a head speed of 1650, 1800 and 1950.

Set the percentage values as follows:

[UP] 30% = 1650 OR 30 X 5 = 150 ... 150 + 1500 = 1650
[CNTR] 60% = 1800 OR 60 X 5 = 300 ... 300 + 1500 = 1800
[DOWN] 90% = 1950 OR 90 X 5 = 450 ... 450 + 1500 = 1950

SIMPLE ... now no need to remove the canopy everytime you want to change your head speed for your style of flying.

Now toggle the 9C switch "E" and see if it all matches up. It will be pretty close but no more then 3 rpms off.

ADDED 01/14/08 So every 10% changes the RPM value by 50 RPMs
