Si svolgera dal 23 al 25 luglio 2010 in Olanda.
Peccato perchè si stava pesantemente lavorando per portarlo nella nostra bella Italia per la precisione a Rimini,continueremo a lavorare per il 2011

Holland to host 3D Masters 2010


3D Masters 2010 will be held in Venlo, the Netherlands on the 23rd, 24th and 25th July. The hosts will be the Jupiter Flying Club, whose site is based on heathland very close to the town of Venlo, which is situated in the south-east of Holland. The Jupiter Club has been established for over 50 years and and has a very enthusiastic hard-core 3D element, the club even host one of the Dutch 3D events every year.



Communications for 3D enthusiasts are excellent, with Venlo sitting on major road routes through Europe, only 200 miles from Calais and the flying site only 400 metres from the Dutch border with Germany. Visitors by air will be able to make use of the local airport at nearby Dusseldorf as well as the international facility at Schiphol, only 100 miles away. We expect the location to be attractive to visitors from all over Europe as it is central to all the pockets of 3D across the region. The Dutch people are known for their warmth and hospitality and the Netherlands has the advantage for an international competition of being largely perceived as ‘neutral’. Accommodation is available at all levels, with campsites, bungalow parks, bed-and breakfast and hotels all readily available within the town and easy reach of the flying field.



3D Masters 2010 will retain the format of previous years with the 3 disciplines of Set Manoeuvres, Freestyle and Flight to Music ensuring that the winners in the Experts and Masters categories will have truly earned their accolades. The extremely successful Synchro Competition pioneered in 2009 will be repeated, with entry for 2010 open to a larger number of participants, and of course the Demonstration, Evening and Night Flying will again help to create the fantastic atmosphere for which the event has become internationally renowned. The site will have a Sponsors area for Tradestands, a foreground and a premium banner area and we expect to attract a strong International following, both in visitors and sponsors.



A spokesman for 3D Masters commented. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to locate 3D Masters at the Jupiter Venlo site and the attitude and enthusiasm of the members gives us great faith that the Competitors, Sponsors, Helpers and Fans who get so much from 3D Masters will remember 3D Masters 2010 as yet another progressive step in what has become the world’s biggest and most iconic 3D competition.



Chairman of the Jupiter Club, Walter Robijns is a veteran of many 3D Masters events and led the campaign for 3D Masters to be hosted by his Club. He promises that the prices of food and refreshments will be held at a very reasonable level and he proudly boasts that his Club “has the most attractive flying site in all Holland”.

Walter claims ‘We want people to say: ”This was the best 3DMasters experience, EVER !!!”

Grande Carlo ( e non solo lui) per il suo impegno, nel portare una cosi' importante manifestazione nel ns paese, speriamo per il 2011... nel fratempo l'anno prossimo vi seguiremo in Olanda con il ns solito tifo tutto per i partecipanti italiani ... il gruppo di Modena, Alle Andrea e Daniele..
