Hello Italy! My name is Herold Shuylaar from the Netherlands. I registered to your forum since it is the only place where could find a discussion on the brand new DynamoJet I saw at last fall's Jet Power. I am glad to share some opinions on it with you guys! I do not understand a single word in Italian, but online translators really do a great job! Ciao Italia! |

I saw the Dynamo at Jet Power, it seems good! But immediately, at the first sight, in my mind coming back shape of the first blackberry . roughly squared, and the second one . 9000 bold CURVE, very smooth!!! I have had a Turbinator and sorry, but it seems a Turbinator CURVE!! In any case a very very good sandpaper work!!! The great problem of the models with the exhaust under tail is, obviously, the jet flame. Ive cocked my turbinators tail a couple!! In the Dynamo, a bit of roast meat very expensive! Any way I continue to read the conversation and enjoy myself, its seems a conversation between people that drive the same car, and cant say anything except that it is beautiful! The jet word is very little One is a ARG shareholder One is the guy that have used sandpaper One is a builder One is a father of the guy that receive a dynamo as a gift And, to reply to Dad Massimo at the Straordinaro é andato a finire persino sul giornale!!! , Dear MaxGap Im sure that you know that the Lucianos brother in Gianni De Pace Vice director of Tuttosport newspaper!! http://www.guidamonaci.it/tuttosport...125059830.html I hope to see and reed much more opinion of people external to this business! |

Ouch!! Frendly people around here... Ouch!! Frendly people around here... I'd prefer sticking to the topic. My thoughts: Let me say that the flight of the Dynamo is a thing of beauty! Smooth, predictable and handy. I think I rarely have seen such good handling at low speed. The demoflight at Jetpower clarly focused all this. Nothing to say about the moulding and finish, a real craftmanship masterpiece. Please allow me just a note (the gentlemen above said it right): it looks like a curvy Nick Ziroli Turbinator! Just have a look at these 3-views: same wing aspect ratio, same stab and fin layout shape; same air inlets and above all same under tail turbine exhaust!! I would not be surprised to find on the Dynamo thesame wing chord, wing area and stab area you have on the Turbinator This said, the flight characteristics of the Dynamo are no surprise, just grab some Youtube videos on the Shulman's Turbinator: same behaviour, and very same low speed handling. Scratch build Ziroli Turbinator is a little heavier, but "that" is. I've been building and flying model aircraft since the last 20 years and love Ziroli designs because they fly beautifully. The secret is just a high-lift, but high drag airfoil that gives super slow flight stability. And wing incidence angle versus tailplane incidence angle and flight line. That's it! The Dynamo has tremendous attractive look, but iI was just looking for a turbine trainer, I would get the real thing, I would get a Turbinator. Take care. Herold Ouch!! Frendly people around here...
