"There have been many questions after presentation of the ROYALpro at Nuernberg how users can bring their existing equipment to the same level.
Users of the ROYALevo will have 2 options to upgrade after start of deliver of the ROYALPro. In both cases the Evo will need to be sent for service.
1. Upgrade - Softwareupdate to version 2.xx including HF-Modul-exchange.
- We will exchange the HFM-4 or HFM-S against the new HFM-S M-PCM/PPM. Existing scanner- or channel-check-modules can be exchanged upon request against the new scanner.
- The back plate and the antenna (stainless) steel will be changed

- SW version 2.xx will be installed
- model memory will be converted and uploaded again
The upgraded Evo will provide for:
- PCM and PPM
- INOX Antenna, short stick possible
- all features of the version 2.xx SW
It will not be support to use the new ROYALPro sticks and 3-pos-stick switches. (# 7 5749), (# 8 5931 ... 33).
The offer does include above features, a new manual and shipping back.
Costs: 59,- EUR / 89,- EUR exchange of scanner/channel-check
2. Firmware-Update to version 2.xx
It will not be possible to use the Datamanager for the update to version 2.xx. The TX will need to be sent for service. We are offering a
free Update including a new manual and shipping back.
This update will provide for the same features like 1.) but without PCM
Such services will start only once the ROYALPro delivery has started.
After the the update the Evo can be keep current by using the new Datamanager available via the internet."
