So what do you prefer Ron? A single thick wire or more in parallel?

I have made a comparison between my Utron 400R and my Typhoon 06. The first is made by a lot of really thin wires wired in parallel, while the second is exactly the opposite. Is there any theory that make us prefer one instead the other?
