Further Update: seems like I've bricked my 80A SB! I did two flights this morning, and uploaded the data logs as usual. Later, when I tried to re-connect to the software I got the error message "can't hardware _Pi! 's hardware setting" in the Turnigy software, and a slightly more informative "Can't find hardware Pi!'s parameter setting!" from the Hifei V4.02 software. It's also apparent that whilst the Turnigy software recognises the Hifei firmware, the Hifei firmware does not recognise the Turnigy firmware. I know the software and USB linker are working since I can still connect my 40A SB. When I try to use the 80A SB now, it no longer runs the motor - instead, there's just a kind of gargling sound from the motor. Since I've been using the SB on a 4s 450 heli, there's no way I can have burned it out, and the last logs showed no more than 18A peaks and ESC temperature of 33.8c. Perhaps my SB didn't like the Hifei firmware. So users beware! I've attached the error messages as .png files in the "files" section.
