Yesterday we reported about a delay in the production of the SAB Goblin 700 helicopter and now the italian company issued a statement pointing out that the new gear technology that is incorporated into the helis design caused the slight delay in finishing the first and second batch of the kits. According the SAB the first batch of helis will hit stores by end of January 2012 with the second batch is scheduled for end of February 2012.
Development of the SAB Goblin has revolved around one specific demand that means most to us performance. With the SAB Goblin 700, we have developed a helicopter designed to surpass the demands of intense 3D pilots throughout the world, and to best meet such demands, we are doing everything we are able to make sure each and every Goblin kit is nothing short of exceptional.
To offer the best performance that can be attained, we have chosen a new gear technology that will allow the SAB Goblin to harness the most brutal brushless power systems available, allowing you to push the Goblin harder & faster than ever thought possible.
Due to this new gear technology that will be implemented, the 1st batch of SAB Goblin 700 kits will be pushed back till the end of January, whereas the 2nd batch of kits is still scheduled for the end of February.
We sincerely apologize for this delay, as we know each and every customer is eagerly waiting for this kit to arrive. We hope you will understand this delay, and we hope you will stand with us, knowing these improvements are truly worth the wait.
