Thanks to all for the information and the hints!
I've reserved the flights now, arriving 25.9 and leaving 30.9. If the conditions look good, I'll start from Monte Catria and then move on to Vettore. In the case of bad conditions, the alternative plan is the souther slopes suggested by gmo... only couple hundred kilometers of driving regardless where I decide to go.
