"If you are using the latest software set the ESC for low advance timing and use outrunner mode. If you are having issues with motor operation using outrunner mode try 8KHz. If you are using older software v1.56 and earlier you would use low advance timing and 11 or 13KHz PWM (whichever is the factory PWM rate). All other settings are user preference. Please let me know if you are still having issues."
