Porca paletta zozza! mi hai messo un dubbio atroce!
Nella confezione dell'E-Revo Brushless #5608 mi sono affidato a questo piccolo libretto verde intitolato "CASTLE DRIVER'S ED Istruction manual for all Castle Creations Car and Truck Brushless Power Systems (revision date 11/2007)" che spiega come programmare l'ESC con la radio.
Il punto di programmazione n. 7 che è il "Cutoff Voltage" ha solo queste scelte:
1) None (Default)
2) Auto-Lipo
This setting allows you to go back and forth between 2 and 3 cell lipo packs [...]
3) 5v
Cuts off/limits the motor speed/Acceleration when the pack gets down to 5 volts. A good setting for racing or bashing in any vehicle using 8-12 NiMH or NiCad packs.
4) 6v
Cuts off/limits the motor speed/Acceleration when the pack gets down to 6 volts.
[A MUST USE setting for 2 cell (7.4v) Lithium Polymer packs. You will irreversibly damage your packs using a lower cutoff voltage!]
5) 9v
Cuts off/limits the motor speed/Acceleration when the pack gets down to 9 volts.
[A MUST USE setting for 3 cell (11.1v) Lithium Polymer packs. You will irreversibly damage your packs using a lower cutoff voltage!]
6) 12v
Cuts off/limits the motor speed/Acceleration when the pack gets down to 12 volts.
[A MUST USE setting for 4 cell (14.8v) Lithium Polymer packs. You will irreversibly damage your packs using a lower cutoff voltage! Use of a 4 cell LiPo pack is covered under warranty ONLY on Monster Max ESCs.]
Non ci sono altre scelte!
Madonna... se si riferissero alla somma dei due pacchi sarebbero da impiccare!!! avrebbero quantomeno dovuto avvertire a caratteri cubitali nel vano batterie che hanno venduto un prodotto inadeguato/incompleto per girare in sicurezza con 3S (2P)!
Adesso mi ritrovo con almeno 120 euro di batterie fottute (se non il doppio, visto che ho usato anche l'altra coppia fino a sentire un rallentamento) e qualche settimana di mezzo fermo in attesa di Castle Link USB.
Mi assale un misto di incazzatura (contro la Traxxas) e tristezza...
