Length: 1625mm (64”)
Wing span: 1840mm (72.5”)
Wing area: 61.03sq.dm (6.57sq.ft)
Wing loading: 100.6g/sq.dm (33oz/sq.ft)
Flying weight: 5.9kg (13lbs)
Radio: 6ch & 8servos
Engine: 120 4-cycle

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
This section describes our recommendations to help you in deciding which types of accessories to purchase for your new Spitfire. These suggestions are not set in stone, but they should provide you with a good starting point.
Balancing
Please note due to the scale fidelity of the ESM Spitfire care must be taken to avoid excessive weight at the rear end as this will reduce the amount of nose weight required.
What Engine Should I Use?
Two Stroke Engines:
We recommend using a .91 up to a 1.20. A strong ball bearing .91 will fly the airplane with good authority and result in scale speed and performance. Use the upper range of engine if you plan on adding scale details, smaller engines may require additional weight to balance.
Four Stroke Engines:
We recommend using a .91 up to a 1.20. A good .91 will fly the airplane with authority and result in scale speed and performance with the scale sound. We have found the best matched engine for both performance and minimum of scale deviation is the RCV91CD. If you are using a four stroke engine, the engine should be mounted either sideways or inverted (if you want to keep it hidden completely within the cowling) and the stock silencer pipe should be rotated to divert the exhaust out the bottom of the cowling.
We do not suggest you use larger engines than those recommend. The airplane flies very well with the recommended engines, and using larger, heavier engines will only result in the airplane being heavier with an increased wing loading leading to possible airframe failures, please call to discus any deviations on engine sizes.
Length: 1449mm (57”)
Wing span: 1800mm (70.9”)
Wing area: 56.1sq.dm (6.04sq.ft)

Flying weight: 5.8kg (12.8lbs)
Radio: 6ch & 8servos
Engine: 108 2-cycle / 120 4-cycle
