Pesa 68gr il pezzo di....ferro...
Suggerimenti riguardo l'utilizzo?

Hi !
I've put this KDA20-40 2000KV motor in a Mini Kelly (50in wingspan, 10oz AUW sailplane) with a TP 12A esc, a 4.5x3 folding prop and a 800ma 11v lipo. The Kelly has changed from boring, to a mini-hotliner .......with a mere 7A draw from the battery.
Thanks !!!

I use this with a 3S Polyquest 1'200mAh Lipo & a Graupner CAM 5.5 x 4.3 & still get 14'000 rpm static AFTER 8 minutes of flight in a Saab Gripen Park Jet.
Plans here:
http://marcelluswallace.free.fr/imag...pen/gripen.zip
Static load is close to 9 Amps so a bit over the rating of the motor. I will go down to a CAM 5 x 4.7 and that should be a very good combination.
A little less powerful than I hoped so 4*, still it is very good value.

i used this engin in a small pylon plane, with a 6x5 propp and it is insane how fast the plane got. and the fact that the engine dosn't pull that many amps makes it even better cous i can use a small 800mAh battery to keep the weight down. Best engine i have ever used for a speed plane.
i would guess it is perfect for flying wings and other fast combat planes to

I use this motor with a 1500mAh 3s Kokam pack (the 8C version) in an speed 400 modell with Günther Propeller (the one which is used for Graupner SP 400 planes like Easy Star or Twin Star).
It turns 17500 rpm at 6.2 A with speed controller SuperSimple 20A ESC.
This is much better then my old original Speed 400 6V - which turns the same propeller with 14800 rpm at 9.9 A and 8 x NICD Cells, type AAA.
The big advantage is: less weight, more power, less current, same shaft size and the wholes for screws are indentical to original speed 400, so it is easy to replace the SP 400 by this brushless inrunner.
But don't forget cooling - without cooling the engine will get very hot within 2-3 minutes!

Buen motor.Lo he colocado en el EasyGlider, montandolo con la reductora original, sube mejor que con el motor que trae el avión de origen, pero no sube vertical, ni mucho menos. Con este motor duran mas las baterias porque aprovecha mejor la energia

A little big noisy, but worth his quite low price. I receive this brushless motor (instead in this on picture it was red color motor) and I will use it in my smal eco boat. My data are:
Shaft Size: fi=2.3mm, L=10mm
Motor Dimensions: fi=20mm, L=40mm Weight: 61g
Kv: 2000
Idle Current: 0.55A
It comes with 3.5mm Gold Connectors instaled like on the picture + 3 fem. parts. All in a small, transparent plastic box.
