Profi Mc M-link

HFM3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz RF module # 4 5610
The HFM3 M-LINK RF module is designed for the legendary MULTIPLEX PROFI mc series. PROFI mc 3010, PROFI mc 3030 and PROFI mc 4000 transmitters can easily be converted to the new MULTIPLEX M-LINK 2.4 GHz transmission technology using this module.

The conversion is accomplished by installing the 2.4 GHz aerial (with LED button for operating the 2.4 GHz RF module) in the transmitter together with the new aerial support plate, making a stylish combination. The special modes of operation Binding and Reduced Power (for range checking) are simply and conveniently activated using the newly installed LED button; this eliminates the need to use inaccessible internal buttons which may be difficult to operate. At the same time the LED supplies information about the operational status of the 2.4 GHz RF module, e.g. normal operation, binding or reduced-power mode for range checking.

If you use a receiver with telemetry facilities (min. RX-7-DR M- LINK or RX-9-DR M-LINK), and the actual voltage of the receiver power supply falls below a (variable) minimum value, an audible warning signal alerts you that your receiver battery is almost flat. This means that you are constantly aware of the state of the receiver battery, as well as the condition of the transmitter battery (as previously). An important extra safety feature!

13 / 16-channel expansion unit for PROFI mc 3000 / 4000 # 7 5810

If you install the HFM3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz RF module it makes sense to expand your PROFI mc 3010 or 3030 transmitter to thirteen fully proportional servo channels, or your PROFI mc 4000 to sixteen fully proportional channels. Large-scale aircraft often feature a large number of auxiliary working systems, and pilots of such models will certainly appreciate this advance.

To expand your transmitter you need the 13-channel / 16-channel expansion module for the PROFI mc 3000/ 4000 - and you’re ready to go: plug the circuit board into the HFM3 M-LINK RF module, and connect up to four additional controls to the board.

Control elements can be two-position switches, three-position switches or rotary proportional knobs. These can be installed in the transmitter in the standard installation wells at front right and left, adjacent to the screen.

If your transmitter is a PROFI mc 3010 / 3030, the expansion will give you channels 1 to 9 plus the auxiliary channels 10 to 13.
If you have a PROFI mc 4000, channels 1 to 12 are available plus the auxiliary channels 13 to 16. Please note that these four additional channels cannot be configured or adjusted using the transmitter’s software.

2.4 GHz aerial adapter lead for PROFImc # 7 5116
With the help of this adapter lead you can install the 2.4 GHz aerial in one of the switch installation wells from the side, instead of removing the ball socket for the 35, 40 ... MHz aerial. This makes it an easy matter to exchange the HFM3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz module for an FM RF module, even at the flying field:
- Undo the 2.4 GHz aerial lead connection
- Remove the 2.4 GHz module
- Insert the 35, 40, ... MHz FM RF module
- Screw the 35, 40, ... MHz aerial into place - job done!
