Se leggi il datasheet vedrai che ci sono dei limiti ben precisi per le due tensioni di riferimento, ed in particolare VRef+ può andare da un minimo di 2V ad un massimo di VDD+0.3V, mentre VRef- può variare tra VSS-0.3V e VRef+ -2V!
